Our story

We are a leading vertically integrated Electronics Manufacturing Services company providing OEM and ODM solutions across fast- moving electrical goods, including fans, kitchen appliances, home comfort appliances, and components, to leading national and international consumer appliance brands in India. In addition to our EMS operations, we have established a consumer-facing presence which markets a range of consumer electrical and domestic appliances under the “Lazer” brand. Our capabilities span product conceptualisation, design and development, sourcing, manufacturing, quality assurance, packaging, marketing, distribution, delivery and after-sales services. Our presence across multiple product categories enables us to address diverse customer requirements and cater to a broad range of product applications within the domestic appliances market.

Mr. Parmod Kumar Jain

Chairman, Managing Director and Promoter

Mr. Parmod Kumar Jain is one of the Promoters, Chairman and Managing Director of our Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in textiles (technology) from Technological Institute of Textiles, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. He was one of the partners in M/s Vardhman Electrical Appliances, the erstwhile partnership firm. Pursuant to the conversion of the erstwhile partnership firm into a public limited company, he was appointed as one of the first directors and Managing Director of our Company. He has experience in the domestic appliances industry and has been associated with our Company since inception. He is also associated with our Subsidiary and our Group Company in the capacity of director. He is responsible for the overall supervision of the operations of our Company.

    1 milestone

    1. 1983

      • Constitution of the erstwhile partnership firm under the name ‘Vardhman Electrical Appliances’ and commencement of business operations involving manufacture of electric fans and allied electrical products.

  2. 2010s

      • Commenced commercial production of electric irons, pumps, heat convectors, heating elements, juicer mixer grinders, sandwich toasters, fans, immersion rods, thermostat, water guards and water heaters at the Baddi Unit-I.

    2. 2011

      • Received a certificate from Bureau of Indian Standards for registering electric room heaters, electric radiators (radiant heaters) (400/800W, 230V, 50Hz AC) under IS 302: Part 2: Section 30:2007.

    3. 2014

      • Established a manufacturing facility at plot number 118, Sector 53, Phase-V, HSIIDC, Kundli Industrial Area, Sonipat – 131 028, Haryana, India and commenced commercial production of electric fans and appliances.

    4. 2019

      • Received a certificate from Bureau of Indian Standards for registering domestic electric food mixers (liquidizer grinder and centrifugal juicer) under IS 4250:1980.

  3. 2020s

      • Established a manufacturing unit at plot number 115, Sector 53, Phase-V, HSIIDC, Kundli Industrial Area, Sonipat – 131 028, Haryana, India, for manufacturing home comfort and kitchen appliances.

    2. 2023

      • Conversion of the partnership firm into a public limited company under the name ‘Vardhman Appliances Limited’.

    3. 2024

      • Commenced commercial production at Kundli Unit-I with the manufacture of cut-outs and heating elements.
      • Acquired the entire business of manufacturing electrical home and kitchen appliances from M/s. Quality Industries on a going-concern basis, pursuant to the BTA.
      • Acquired certain identified assets forming part of the business operations of Vardhman Home Appliances Limited, pursuant to the Asset Sale Agreement.
      • Acquired 100% of the equity share capital of Lazer India Private Limited, thereby making it our wholly-owned subsidiary.
      • Received a certificate from Bureau of Indian Standards for registering toasters, grills, waffle irons, roasters and similar appliances under IS 302 (Part 2/Section 9):2009.
      • Received a certificate from Bureau of Indian Standards for registering electric kettles and jugs for household and similar use under IS 367:1993.

    4. 2025

      • Commenced commercial sales of room heaters and convector heaters from Kundli Unit-II.
      • Received a certificate from Bureau of Indian Standards for registering hotplate (2200W, 230V and 50 Hz) under IS 302: Part 2: Section 9:2009.
      • Received a certificate from Bureau of Indian Standards for registering electrical fans (34W, 36W and 38W, 230V and 50 Hz) under IS 302: Part 2: SEC 80:2017.
      • Received a certificate from Bureau of Indian Standards for registering domestic gas stoves for use with liquified petroleum gas under IS: 4246:2002.
